Biography
Sophie T. Lvoff is a graduated from New York University and Tulane University in New Orleans, and attended the Ecole du Magasin in Grenoble and the post-graduate program at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Lyon.
Her artistic practice oscillates between text, sound and photography and focuses on the transmission of ideas describing modernism, feminism, institutional critique and truth in historical narratives, while questioning what can be transmitted through an inherently deceptive yet democratic medium such as photography.
