Since the late 1980s, the City of Marseille has developed a program supporting emerging artists.The City provides 13 studios (11 of which dedicated to artists under 35 years old) at a moderate rent for a duration of 23 months. Artists are selected by a jury of professionnals. Triangle - Astérides, centre d'art contemporain provides on-going support to the municipal studios’ resident artists, to help them develop their critical and professional skills.
